52 magicians joined us in Prague this October. This time there is room for 90. Once 65 pledge by December 31, Wondercon 2027 is confirmed. If we fall short, your card is never charged.
Each card is one pledged seat, red deck first, then blue. Reach the bold white line and the convention is on; fill all 90 and we're sold out.
How the pledge works
Pick a ticket and save your card through Stripe. Nothing is charged now.
Wondercon 2027 is confirmed. Your card is charged on January 15, 2027, after the holidays, or in four monthly instalments from that date. Pledging stays open until December 31, or until all 90 seats are gone.
If we're still short on December 31, the 2027 edition doesn't happen. No card is charged and nothing is owed.

Every ticket can include an extra donation to Butterfly Wondercon; add it in the pledge form. Artist workshops are €99 each, or bundled in All-In and VIP. Thursday's all-day Conjuring Intensive is always booked separately at €299. Every full registration counts as one card toward the 65, including scholarship seats. The room holds 90 each day: 80 full-convention seats (70 for Regular, Non-Participation and Scholarship tickets, with 3 scholarship seats in total, plus 5 All-In and 5 VIP) and 10 one-day places, for Friday and for Saturday separately. Once the 70 are gone, each further full registration takes one Friday and one Saturday place.

Workshops · 20 seats each · prices in EUR
Four small workshops and one all-day Intensive Course, each capped at 20 people. The four artist workshops are add-ons to a convention ticket: 10 seats in each are kept for All-In and VIP, who get them included, and 10 are open to everyone else. Thursday's Conjuring Intensive is always booked on its own, and it's the one workshop you can book without a convention ticket.
What €199 gets you
A three-day convention in the same format as 2026. Wondercon is small on purpose: one stage, at most 90 people who care about the theory behind the tricks, and time to jam with the people whose books you've read.

Thursday belongs to the workshops. The convention opens on Friday at 13:00. Workshops are booked separately and capped at 20 people, so every participant gets hands-on time with the artist.

Pledge
It takes a minute and costs nothing today. Your card is saved securely by Stripe and only charged from January 15, 2027 if Wondercon is confirmed.
Questions
The pledge stays open until December 31, so there's time to give a seat as a holiday gift. If fewer than 65 people have pledged by then, the 2027 edition is called off and no card is charged.
Yes. Before your card is charged, email eshop@butterflymagicstore.com and we'll cancel your pledge. After that, you can cancel with a full refund until the end of May 2027. From June 2027 your ticket is non-refundable, but you can transfer it to anyone else.
When you pledge, Stripe saves your card; nothing is charged. If 65 people pledge by December 31, 2026, Wondercon 2027 is confirmed and we charge your card on January 15, 2027, after the holidays. Regular and All-In tickets can also be paid in four monthly instalments on January 15, February 15, March 15 and April 15. If we fall short, your card is never charged.
A reserved seat in the back row and our promise that nobody will call you up on stage. Watch, listen and take notes in peace.
The convention is confirmed and pledges keep counting until December 31, or until all 90 seats are taken. Pledging early is the surest way to get the ticket you want.
On Saturday at 22:00, after the evening show, VIP ticket holders sit down to a private dinner with the 2027 artists. No performances, no stage: just dinner and conversation. Nobody else at the convention gets this time with the artists.
Our top ticket, limited to 5 people. It includes the full convention, all four artist workshops, the private VIP dinner with the artists, a front-row seat at every session and some super special extra swag in your swag bag. Above all, it helps fund Wondercon into the future. Thursday's Conjuring Intensive is booked separately.
A full registration you pay for that we award to a young, talented magician who couldn't otherwise afford the ticket. Buy one on its own, or add one or more to your own pledge in the form.
Yes. Every pledge has an optional donation field. Any extra amount goes to Butterfly Wondercon to enhance the experience and benefits for every attendee.
Only Thursday's Conjuring Intensive: choose "No convention ticket" in the pledge form. The four artist workshops are add-ons to a convention ticket, so pick your ticket first and tick the workshops you want in the same pledge, or add them later.
Yes, any time while seats last. In the pledge form choose "Already pledged · add workshops", use the same email as your first pledge and tick the workshops. Your ticket pledge stays exactly as it is. You save a card again (it can be the same one): until January 15 nothing is charged, and the workshops are charged together with your ticket. After that, you pay for them when you book.

Butterfly Playing Cards, s.r.o. uses your name, email and country only to run your pledge and ticket, issue your tax documents and send you news about Wondercon 2027. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us. We share your details only with the services that run this: Stripe (payments), Resend (emails) and iDoklad (tax documents). Tax documents are kept as long as Czech law requires. For a copy of your data or to have it deleted, email eshop@butterflymagicstore.com.
